Optimization For Search Engines

The term Search Engine Optimization refers to the various techniques which try to improve the ranking of a website on the search engines. The search engines never provide their algorithms for two main reasons, because this is their advantage to face competition, and because they are trying to fight against "cheats" of referencing or spam indexing.

Search engines regularly change their algorithms to improve their results to adapt to changing practices and, once again, to fight against spam indexing. Therefore, it can be considered that the SEO is a form of divination art and well enough to build their skeletons and to offer attractive content to be well referenced and well visited.

When I realize corporate sites, customers routinely raise the issue and, if placed in competition, we need to meet face to others who do not hesitate to jargon to impress the customer, and because Customers are very anxious about this. I climbed the professional web sites for my own account, with some real success in terms of referencing, while others have suffered tremendous setbacks on that side. There are therefore many things that work better than others.

On different sites for which I have access to statistics, the visits from search engines account for between 35% and 85% of total visits. Due to the start of my sites no launch campaign or purchase of banner, we can even consider that visitors who are not from a search engine have in fact discovered the site the first time through a search engine. But also that the sites and forums that reference my site and therefore give me tours that are not counted as coming from an engine also discovered the site via Google.
