Google Buzz – How Will it Affect Local SEO?

Everyone is buzzing about the launch of new social media Google called "Google Buzz." While millions of people control the major new features and brings new worlds of communication is literally open, are all of us in optimizing search engine professional to ask: "How will it affect local SEO?"

Let me first mention a couple, after all the obvious strategic advantages Buzz Google has over its competitors:

* Google is synonymous with darn close to finding what I am saying is that they control the door!
* Google Maps is by far the most used application on the phone with smartcard
* All Gmail accounts are automatically enrolled in Buzz
* Oh Yeah ... and new users of smart phones that use Android, which automatically creates a Gmail account

I know you think of geniuses, they are devious ... I agree!

That being said, I do not see Buzz Google via Twitter or Facebook in the near future in the field of social media, but from a SEO perspective, Google Local Buzz in the very near future, provide an advantage over local SEO that Facebook or Twitter. I want to clarify the previous statement in just a second, but first I want some of my experiences so far to help you share an idea on how Google may Buzz your online business presence and influence in the near future (today).

I've been "Buzz Buzzin 'because Google was launched yesterday. First jump in Gmail apparently I was not impressed. It was not until I jumped on my mobile phone using the update application Google Maps has started reeling my brain! You can sleep in the Google Maps that allows you to everyone who "Buzzin 'in your area to see. Although this does bring a lot of privacy issues (not that we speak now, but you can choose to share in public), it is really cool!

If you are looking for businesses in Google Maps on their mobile site and your page is now a button that says: "Buzz about this place." You can Buzz about a company you want, you do not want, etc. This is an area where Google is leading the league with a Facebook or Twitter as persons with Google Maps to find local businesses will be able to see what other people say about this company, as a test.

So how has all this room for SEO? Good question!

Let us first see what is already in place and let us speculate on possible next steps by Google. Deal? OK, then we have already determined that Buzz is integrated with Google Maps Google Mobile Edition, where people can buzz about companies and other people can see the messages on their theses moving map from Google, so it is quite clear we want to be so positive voltage, right? Makes sense. Even if someone posts negative buzz about your business, you may want answers to their posts to help them return to the shed and what went wrong, it will also tell others that you see Buzz are concerned about your customers, which is probably an isolated case. Yes, if you thought that you avoid social media, you no longer!

Now, let us speculate on what a few meters beside Google would. I wrote an article on the future of research and what is interesting to me is what I would be speculating on the next 3 years is in part here with the launch of Buzz Google and many others follow in 2010. But back to our speculation ... It seems clear that the standard Google Place will soon "return to the company functional Buzz '(Feel free to share your thoughts below if you agree or disagree). I think they will also be a section Place on top of Google, which says something like "What's the Buzz on the lists of business and public disquiet about the company (think again if these assessments). I think Google would want a foot in their office to add Google Maps that Buzz allows users to add the same layer.

My speculation last! I promise!

I attended one of the laboratory studies with social media and Google search, but not super impressed by it and to participate effectively ceased some time ago. The hypothesis was that the results would take information from your friends on social networks in research, so your messages from friends on Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, etc. What is clear at all, but for me, is they were operating a laboratory test to determine how to best serve Google results Buzz with "other" platforms of social media in the most effective results. So I think in the very near future, we'll start to see this published as a job once complete laboratory or at least one that can be selected for local social information on what you are looking for entertainment.
